LOS ANGELES, California (July 25, 2016) – A collision between a car and a motorcycle occurred Monday morning on the northbound Interstate 110 Freeway at the West Gage Avenue, according to California Highway Patrol report.
The 7:53 AM crash occurred when a red motorcycle collided with a BMW sedan. The rider was found down in number 1 lane while the motorcycle was in number 2 lane. The rider was injured in the crash. Paramedics responded to the crash scene and took the rider to a hospital for treatment, the report said.
According to the report, a silver Volkswagen was towed from the scene. It, however, doesn’t state whether the vehicle was involved in the crash. All the lanes of the freeway were blocked following the crash.
An investigation into the crash is underway by police.
