RIO OSO, CA: Multi-vehicle Crash Highway 65
RIO OSO, California (September 23, 2016) – A crash involving multiple vehicles was reported Thursday evening on Highway 65, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident took place at about 4:20 p.m. Thursday evening when a white Chevrolet Suburban collided head-on with a blue Jeep Grand Chery just south of Levee Road.
Further, the report indicates that two other vehicles crashed into the first two vehicles. The second collision caused the Chevrolet Suburban to fall about thirty feet off the highway.
Tow trucks were called to the scene to remove the wreckage. The crash is under investigation by the police to determine the cause and liability.
