Woman Injured after Two vehicles Collided on 80 Freeway At Richmond Parkway in San Pablo
San Pablo, CA: Two Vehicles Collide 80 Freeway Near Richmond Parkway, Injuries Reported
San Pablo, California (October 13, 2016) – A woman was injured Wednesday afternoon after a sedan collided with a suburban utility vehicle collided at the intersection of the eastbound 80 Freeway and Richmond Parkway, the authorities said.
The 4:58 p.m. accident occurred between a gray Nissan Rogue collided and a white Oldsmobile Alero.
A woman in one of the vehicles involved in the accident sustained head injuries. The report did not indicate the severity of the injuries sustained by the woman.
Firefighters responded to the scene and on arrival, the shut down the number 4 lane of the freeway. Paramedics also arrived at the scene and attended to the injured woman, as per the report.
Tow trucks were then dispatched to the scene to help in clearing the wreckage from the road.
The crash is under investigation by the police to determine the cause and liability.
