San Jose, California (October 24, 2016) – The police are investigating an incident in which a female pedestrian was injured after she was struck by a car Monday evening in San Jose, according to a police report.
The accident took place at about 7:26 p.m. yesterday at the intersection of the southbound 280 Freeway and Meridian Avenue on-ramp.
The pedestrian was found down in the middle of the roadway by the responding units.
The paramedics were called to the scene to attend to the injured woman. The freeway was closed at the on-ramp as the police gathered evidence at the scene of the accident.
