Long Beach, CA: Injuries Reported After Crash on 605 Freeway at Katella Avenue
Long Beach, California (December 8, 2016) – An injury crash involving multiple vehicles was reported Thursday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The multi-vehicle crash took place around 6:18 a.m. this morning on the southbound Interstate 605 Freeway near Katella Avenue on-ramp.
The vehicles involved in the accident were described as a black Honda CRV, a Jeep, a Lexus and two others.
As per the report, the authorities issued a SigAlert for numbers 1, 2, 3, and the HOV lanes of the freeway.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to those injured in the accident, but the paramedics did not state report the condition of the parties involved or if anyone was hospitalized.
The incident remains under investigation.
