Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle on State Route 160 at Peppermill Road in Port Orchard
Port Orchard, Washington (March 23, 2018) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning in Washington, according to Washington State Patrol.
The deadly incident took place at around 5:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22 on State Route 160 at Peppermill Road.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the woman was struck by a dark-colored sedan while she had stopped to help a stranded motorist.
The driver reportedly fled the scene.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
State Route 160 was shut down while police investigated the crash.
