One Driver Killed in Brea Crash on Associated Road
Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision at Associated Road in Brea
Brea, California (March 27, 2018) – A woman was fatally injured when two vehicles collided on Tuesday morning in Brea, the Brea Police Department reported.
The incident took place at about 7:39 a.m. on Associated Road near Imperial Highway.
Police said a pickup truck and a sedan were involved in the collision. One of the two was traveling the wrong way when the accident occurred.
The female driver of the sedan suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was transported to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The two drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles at the time of the crash.
An investigation to determine the cause of the wreck is ongoing.
