One Killed in Fatal Bakersfield Crash on Coffee Road and Rosedale Highway
Adult Killed, Child Hospitalized after Five-Vehicle Collision on Coffee Road and Rosedale Highway in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (March 27, 2018) – One adult was killed while a child was hospitalized after a crash involving five vehicles at an intersection in Bakersfield on Monday night.
The Bakersfield Police Department responded at around 8:10 p.m. Monday, March 26, to the crash at the intersection of Coffee Road and Rosedale Highway.
According to a preliminary investigation, vehicles were stopped at a traffic light when one of them was rear-ended on eastbound Rosedale Highway.
The female driver of an SUV involved in the collision was rushed to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. A child traveling with her was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating the fatal wreck.
