Kansas Bicyclist Struck, Killed by Vehicle at K-15 and 31st Street South in Wichita

Wichita, Kansas (March 30, 2018) – A 64-year-old Kansas Man was struck and killed by a car Wednesday night in Wichita, according to a police report.

The collision took place at around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 28 at K-15 and 31st Street South.

According to the police, Richard Shockley was riding a bicycle in the outside lane on Southbound K-15 when he was struck from behind by a  2013 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 23-year-old woman.

Shockley died at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
