North Carolina Man Killed, 1 Injured in 3-Vehicle Collision on U.S. Highway 65 in Bee Branch

Bee Branch, Arkansas (March 31, 2018) – A 53-year-old North Carolina man was killed, and one other person was injured Monday afternoon in a three-car accident in Bee Branch, according to Arkansas State Police.

The crash took place shortly after 1:10 p.m. Monday, March 26 on U.S. Highway 65.

According to the Arkansas State Police, 47-year-old Steven Horton of Marshall, was driving a Dodge Ram southbound on the highway when he crossed over the centerline and hit a Chevrolet Impala, driven by Jesse Taylor.

The Ram continued southbound and struck a dump truck.

Taylor was declared dead at the site of the incident.

Horton was injured but didn’t need to be transported to the hospital.

No further information regarding the deadly crash was immediately provided.

An investigation to the crash is underway.
