Woman Killed, 1 Injured in 3-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 10 in Baldwin County

Baldwin County, Alabama (April 20, 2018) – A Semmes woman killed and one other person was injured in a three-car accident in Baldwin County Saturday night, authorities.

The collision happened at around 9:45 p.m. Saturday, April 14 on Interstate 10, just westbound at the 29.5-mile marker, about 5.5 miles west of Daphne.

According to the authorities, a 2005 Ford crashed into the bridge on Interstate 10 and came to rest on the roadway.

A 2013 Toyota driven by Jack Monte of Daphne slammed into the 2005 Ford while disabled in the roadway. A 2000 Peterbuilt truck, operated by Juan Garcia of Sarasota, Florida hit the side of the 2013 Toyota as it came to rest on the road.

Angel Warner, 23, of Semmes, who was a passenger in the 2005 Ford, died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Monte was taken to USA Medical Center with unknown injuries.

No other details were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
