Man Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash with Truck on U.S. 6 in Henry County

Henry County, Ohio (April 23, 2018) – A man was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a truck on Sunday afternoon in Henry County, according to a report by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The wreck happened on U.S. 6 Sunday, April 22.

Troopers said Joshua Ryan Dalton, 27, of Morristown, Tennessee, was driving a motorcycle eastbound on U.S. 6 when a pickup truck driven by Ronald Weichers, 62, of Napoleon, pulled out of a driveway and into his path.

Dalton reportedly attempted to lay down his motorcycle to avoid a crash but was unsuccessful. The impact ejected him from his bike and threw him onto the guardrail.

Troopers said Dalton was wearing a helmet and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Weichers was treated for minor injuries.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
