1 Killed, 1 Injured in Boat Collision on Tensaw River near Stockton in Baldwin County

Baldwin County, Alabama (April 3, 2018) – One person was killed, and another was injured Saturday morning in a boat collision in Baldwin County, according to authorities.

The deadly collision happened at around 10:50 a.m. Saturday, March 31 on Tensaw River near Stockton.

According to the authorities, a bass boat operated by Wesley Feely of Atmore slammed into the driver’s side of another bass boat operated by Jackie Cox of Pace.

Cox died at the scene of the incident. His passenger, Lee Grandquest, of Semmes was flown to USA Medical Center with serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
