Woman Struck and Killed by Car on Pearson Avenue in Birmingham
Birmingham, Alabama (April 3, 2018) – A 62-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car Saturday afternoon in Birmingham, according to Birmingham Police.
The incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31 on the 3000 block of Pearson Avenue.
Police said Daisy Lee was sitting on her porch when she was hit by an unknown car.
Lee was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver was taken into custody, but no formal charges have been made at this time.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
