Arkansas Man Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Midland Boulevard in Fort Smith
Fort Smith, Arkansas (March 29, 2018) – An Arkansas man was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Fort Smith, according to Arkansas State Police.
The incident took place at around 12:25 a.m. Tuesday, March 27 in the 3400 block of Midland Boulevard.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Pathro Black, 22, was walking across Midland Boulevard when a 2010 Nissan Sentra heading northbound struck him.
Black was declared deceased at the site of the incident.
State police said Black did not use a crosswalk.
The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and complied with the investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
