Tucson, Arizona (April 12, 2018) – An infant was killed and a man was injured in a two-car collision in Tucson Tuesday evening, authorities said.

The fatal crash occurred at around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 on South Mission Road and West Irvington.

According to the authorities, two vehicles were involved in the crash.

The circumstances under which the crash occurred were not yet determined but one of the vehicles caught fire.

The infant and the man were taken to Banner-University Medical Center, where the infant was pronounced dead and the man was listed in critical condition.

No other details were immediately available.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
