2 Injured in Car Accident at Clayton Avenue and Chestnut Avenue in Fresno
Fresno, California (April 25, 2022) – Two people were injured in a car crash on Sunday afternoon in Fresno.
The accident was reported at around 4 p.m. in the area of Clayton and Chestnut avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pickup truck is reported to have collided with an SUV on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
Officers who responded to the incident found the bed of the truck that had been ripped off due to the impact of the crash.
Two people were pinned inside the wreckage and had to be extricated by the firefighters.
Both patients were transported to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
