Apollo Rodriguez Pushed into Street, Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver

North Hollywood, CA: Apollo Rodriguez Struck And Killed After Being Pushed in Front of Hit-and-Run Driver
North Hollywood, California (December 16, 2016) – A 47-year-old man of North Hollywood was killed early Thursday morning after he was allegedly pushed into the way of a passing car by a bar bouncer in the 6300 block of Lankershim Boulevard, according to a police report.
The victim was identified as Apollo Rodriguez, 47, of North Hollywood.
The incident took place at about 1:45 a.m. Rodriquez was allegedly involved in a scuffle with 34-year-old Ernest Reyes who then pushed him into the street in front the sedan. The vehicle ran over Rodriguez and fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Reyes was booked on suspicion of murder and is being held in lieu of $2 million.
