Man Injured in Winton Motorcycle Crash on Highway 99 near Westside Boulevard
Merced County, California (May 19, 2021) – A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that happened in Merced County on Tuesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle accident happened on Highway 99 near Westside Boulevard at about 8 p.m. May 18.
A 25-year old Livingston man was riding a 2018 Kawasaki on the roadway when he failed to slow down for traffic and crashed into a 2018 Lexus Coupe.
The rider was seriously injured in the accident and was flown to Memorial Hospital in Modesto.
The Lexus driver was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
