Man Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision on N. California Street near E. Oak Street in Stockton

Stockton, California (March 27, 2018) – A man was killed Sunday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash in Stockton, according to authorities.

The deadly accident happened just before 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25 on N. California Street near E. Oak Street.

According to the authorities, a black truck and another vehicle were racing each other along N. California Street when the drivers reached E. Oak Street, and the truck crashed into the other vehicle.

The driver of the truck allegedly fled the scene.

The 65-year-old driver of the other vehicle was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
