Man Killed in Fatal San Diego Crash on West Washington Street near Interstate 5
San Diego, California (March 23, 2018) – A man was killed Thursday night in a pedestrian accident in San Diego, according to a San Diego Police Department report.
The incident took place at around midnight, March 22 on West Washington Street, just west of Interstate 5 and east of Highway 101.
According to the SDPD report, the 59-year-old man was hit by a vehicle while he was walking along a Mission Hills roadway. The driver allegedly fled the scene.
Police responded to the crash and found the man lying in the roadway.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information regarding the incident was immediately provided.
An investigation into the deadly crash is underway.
