Viturino was 61 years old at the time of the crash, he was driving a 1999 Ford Mustang at the time of the accident. Along with Viturino’s death, witnesses said two men that had been injured where seen leaving the mercedes, as another man who looked to be in his 40’s was laying on the grass nearby. This man was taken to a trauma unit in the area where it was later discovered that
he had injuries to his hip and back. And another man that was involved suffered from a broken leg and some minor cuts. While the two men denied that they had been driving, it was suspected that one of them was in fact the driver. At the time of the accident the blood left in the vehical was being processed to see if this would help in identifying the driver of the car. There were several traffic violations reported during the accident, some of which included speeding, which endangers the other drivers, and of course running the red light. Officals where hopeful that they would quickly find out if it was one of the two men or if the driver of the mercedes had fled from the accident scene.
