One Dead In Chula Vista

After a late night care accident, one man met his untimely demise and three other individuals were taken to nearby hospitals so that they could receive the medical care that they needed. According to the Chula Vista Police Department, they were taken the hospital after the car rolled over in the middle of the night, at 1 AM on Sunday. The wreck apparently occurred on East H Street.

Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done to resuscitate the driver. He had died on the scene. But his three passengers were a different story. After being rushed to the local hospitals, they were stabilized.

Onlookers said that the driver was behaving recklessly. Early in the morning hours, with the streets empty, the driver apparently had a surge of courage or anger, which led him to speed through the streets without any reservations at all. Witnesses reported that this reckless behavior led the vehicle to flip and roll over several times until it eventually came to to a halt in the middle of the sidewalk. This event prompted the onlookers to call the local police department and the ambulance to ensure that the driver and the passengers received the medical attention that they required.

As the police continued to investigate the matter, they quickly discovered that the driver was (unsurprisingly) under the influence of alcohol. The alcohol impaired his judgment, which would normally restrain him from flying through the streets in the middle of the night, and caused the accident. Hence, the fatality and the injuries in this case are another statistic attributed to people driving under the influence of alcohol.

The police continued to investigate the crime scene and clean the area of the next 10 hours or so. The road was opened at around 11 AM the next morning.
