Young Victorville girl has her life cut short

A car crash has tragically cut another life short in Victorville. A seven-year-old girl from Victorville was lost in late April.

On April 30th, a 2003 Ford Focus was travelling down the 210 freeway, when it collided with a Toyota Camry at high speed. The collision happened just to the east of Millican Avenue. The girl was identified as Izabela Rose Robinson. The Focus was traveling west down Interstate 210, and the Camry was travelling in the same direction. When the Focus crashed into the Camry it quickly ran North into the freeway wall. The crash was devastating for both cars.

The paramedics responded just minutes after the crash. The identified that the girl was in critical condition, and they transferred her to Loma Linda University Medical Center. The doctors tried their best, but they quickly realized that the girl would not be able to survive. She was declared dead at 2:00 pm. Currently, it is unclear if any other injuries happened during the incident. The California Highway Patrol are currently investigating the cause of the crash.

The mother was extremely emotional after the crash, but she did have time to make a post on social media on May 1st. She mentioned that Friday, she had gone on a mommy/daughter dinner date. They’d laughed over ice cream and other treats. They had made plans to go to the Griffith observatory to have even more fun. Unfortunately, they never had the opportunity to go to the Observatory and bond. The mother is filled with intense sadness over the loss of her child, but she is comforted by the knowledge that her daughter is in heaven.

Violent crashes happen every day, and they often tragically cut lives short. Hopefully, everyone will be more careful, so no young lives are cut short.
