Man Dies in Visalia Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99
Visalia, California (June 22, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian crash on Highway in Visalia Tuesday night, according to a police report.
As per the report, the deadly traffic collision occurred around 10:00 p.m. June 20 on Highway 99, north of Avenue 328.
Authorities said a man was driving southbound on Highway 99 when he drifted to the left and crashed into the concrete wall.
The driver then stepped out and stood outside the vehicle. Shortly after, another vehicle slammed into the stopped vehicle and caused it to strike the pedestrian.
Both motorists were taken to a hospital, where the first driver died.
The victim was only identified as a 32-year-old man.
An investigation is ongoing.
