Bakersfield, CA: Pedestrian Injured in Eucalyptus Drive Hit-and-Run Crash
Bakersfield, California (October 26, 2016) – The authorities are investigating an injury hit-and-run crash that took place Wednesday morning Bakersfield.
According to a police report, the accident took place shortly before 7:00 a.m. near Eucalyptus Drive and State Route 184.
Reportedly, an unidentified pedestrian was struck and injured by two vehicles and possible a third vehicle identified as a white older Toyota sedan. However, the third vehicle is said to have fled the scene of the accident after the crash while the other two cars remained at the scene of the accident.
The California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene and found the pedestrian down on the road.
The report did not indicate the extent of injuries sustained by the pedestrian. The crash is under investigation by the police to determine the cause and liability.
