Driver Found Unconscious, One Party Pinned inside Vehicle and Another Injured in Panama Road Crash

Bakersfield, CA: Two Vehicles Collided head-on on Panama Road
Bakersfield, California (October 6, 2016) – An injury head-on collision was reported Thursday morning in Bakersfield, according to California Highway Patrol report.
At about 7:43 a.m. this morning, the California Highway Patrol officers responded to a traffic collision between a Dodge Avenger and a black Dodge pickup truck.
The CHP officers found a driver of one of the vehicles unconscious and another person was pinned inside. At least one other party was injured in the crash.
Responding fire and medical crews transported at least two injured persons to the hospital for treatment. The report did not indicate the extent of injuries sustained by the parties.
The cause of the crash remains unknown as the police continue to investigate the incident.
