CANYON COUNTY, California (Aug. 4, 2016) – A collision between a car and a motorcycle was reported Thursday morning on State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway near Soledad Canyon Road, according to a CHP report.
As per the report, the accident occurred at about 7:48 a.m. between a maroon Ford Focus and a motorcycle. The rider was down in No. 1 lane. The lane was blocked prompting the police to divert traffic to the right shoulder.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene of the accident to attend to those injured. An ambulance was also called to the scene, but the report does not show if the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the crash to determine the cause and liability.
