Carrie Walrath Dies in Homeland Pedestrian Crash on Highway 74 near Highland Palm Drive
Homeland, California (June 14, 2023) – Authorities have released the name of the pedestrian killed Monday night near Homeland.
33-year-old Carrie Walrath, of Homeland, was killed in a crash at around 9:35 p.m. on Highway 74 just east of Highland Palm Drive.
Walrath was crossing the highway when a 2002 Ford F250 operated by Hemet man, 21, struck her.
Walrath was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The crash remains under investigation.
