Concord, CA: Two Vehicles Collide 680 Freeway at Burnet Avenue Off-Ramp, One Injured
Concord, California (November 4, 2016) – One person was injured and hospitalized Friday after a suspected hit-and-run crash on 680 Freeway at Burnett Avenue off-ramp.
The accident took place at about 5:43 a.m. this morning when two vehicles collide. One of the vehicles went down an embankment as the other vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
Paramedics and fire personnel responded to the scene and transported one person with complaint of pain to his neck to Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center for treatment.
The California Highway Patrol officers are searching for the suspected hit-and-run driver and vehicle.
The crash is under investigation by the police to determine the cause and liability.
