1 Killed, 6 Hurt in San Bernardino Crash on 215 Freeway near University Parkway
San Bernardino, California (May 29, 2023) – One person died, and several others were injured early Sunday morning in a vehicle collision in San Bernardino.
According to a police report, the wreck happened around 2:11 a.m. on May 28 on the northbound 215 Freeway near the University Parkway exit.
Per the report, a silver Lexus ES 350 rear-ended a flatbed truck carrying pullets. The truck overturned after the collision.
The Lexus had four occupants, while the truck had three people at the time of the accident.
One person, whose identity was not immediately released, died at the crash site.
Six parties, including a 3-month-old, were treated at the hospital.
Three victims sustained major injuries, while the other three suffered minor injuries.
Impairment was not considered a factor at the time of the incident.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
