At Least 1 Killed in Whitewater Car Accident on Indian Canyon Drive and Highway 62
Whitewater, California (June 29, 2023) – Authorities responded to a head-on collision that left at least one person with fatal injuries in Whitewater Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly car accident occurred at about 2:41 p.m. on June 28 on Indian Canyon Drive and Highway 62.
In unclear circumstances, a dark grey Honda Civic collided head-on with a silver sedan at the intersection.
Two people were pinned in one of the vehicles and had to be extricated.
At least one person was killed in the accident.
The wreck closed Indian Canyon Drive between Mission Creek and Worsley for several hours.
A tow truck was requested for the scene. An investigation is underway.
