FULLERTON, California (Aug. 1, 2016) – A woman was injured Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle at Raymond and Chapman avenues in Fullerton, Orange County, according to the authorities.
The accident occurred yesterday night about 11 PM when a woman was struck by a compact car as she attempted to cross the street at the intersection of Raymond and Chapman avenues. The woman was working in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.
The woman was injured in the crash and was attended to by the Fullerton Fire Department before she was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
The vehicle’ driver stopped at the scene after the accident and cooperated with the police. Fullerton police are investigating the crash to determine whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
