Driver Flees the Scene on Foot after a Suspected DUI Crash in Grass Valley
Grass Valley, CA: Two-vehicle DUI Crash Magnolia Road
Grass Valley, California (October 5, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, at least one person was injured Tuesday evening following a suspected DUI Hit-and-run crash in Grass Valley.
The accident took place at about 7:20 p.m. yesterday evening when two unidentified vehicles collided at the intersection of on Magnolia and Trotter roads.
Fire crews and paramedics responded to the scene and found at least one person with injuries. The report did not indicate the extent of injuries suffered by the party.
Further, the report stated that one of the drivers involved in the accident abandoned their vehicle and fled the scene foot. The driver is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway by the police.
