MENIFEE, California (AUG. 1, 2016) – Two vehicles collided Sunday evening leaving a teenager with serious injuries on Highway 74 near Trumble Road, according to Menifee Police Department.
The major injuries crash occurred Sunday evening about 6:15 PM between an SUV and a car. According to Menifee Police Department, the driver of the car exited a commercial driveway into the SUV’s path leading to the crash.
A teenager was injured in the crash and was rushed to a local hospital to be treated of what was described as major injuries. Several others were treated of minor injuries by the responding paramedics.
Menifee Traffic Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash. One of the drivers is suspected to have been driving under the influence but the investigation into the crash is not yet complete.
