Jeremiah Esera, 2, Killed After Being Struck By Bus in Oakland
Oakland, California (September 21, 2016) – A two-year-old toddler was killed after being struck by a bus on 35th street near Penniman Avenue on Tuesday afternoon, according to a police report.
The accident took place at about 2:15 p.m. when an AC transit bus that was northbound on 35th avenue struck the two-year-old boy.
Reportedly, Esera was running after his ball across the street when he was struck by the bus.
Alameda County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene of the accident. Esera, who has four other siblings, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The bus that was involved in the accident had to be towed away from the scene at just before 6 p.m.
