60-Year-Old Man Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle on Sepulveda Boulevard

Panorama City, CA: Male Pedestrian Killed in Sepulveda Blvd Pedestrian Crash
Panorama City, California (October 10, 2016) – A 60-year-old man was killed Saturday night after he was struck by a vehicle in Panorama City, according to a police report.
At about 7:50 p.m. on Saturday night, the police received a report of a hit-and-run accident after a man was struck by an undisclosed vehicle on Sepulveda Boulevard.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the crash and was rushed to a medical center for treatment. Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
According to the report, the Los Angeles police said that a female driver went to the Mission Community Police Station and identified herself as the driver who had struck the pedestrian. The female driver did not speak any English and therefore the officers at the station hard a difficult time trying to understand what she was saying.
It was also confirmed that the driver had contacted 911 to report the accident and was, therefore, not arrested. The name of the pedestrian was withheld by the authorities pending family notification.
