Male Pedestrian Killed in San Diego Accident at Pacific Highway and Rosecrans Street
San Diego, California (July 3, 2023) – A male pedestrian was struck to dead by a vehicle in Old Town area of San Diego Saturday night.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at around 8:30 p.m. on Pacific Highway at Rosecrans Street, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A man had been walking north in the bike lane and was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a 2029 Hyundai Elantra operated by a 24-year-old woman.
The unidentified man was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
The crash remains under investigation.
