PLACENTIA, California (Aug. 10, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, a collision between as semi truck and a car was reported Wednesday morning on the southbound 57 Orange Freeway.
The accident was reported at about 7:15 a.m. this morning when a big rig truck crashed into a car in a chain-reaction collision. As per the report, the accident led to the blockage of numbers 1 and 2 lanes of the southbound freeway.
The report indicates that after the car had been hit by the big rig truck, it swerved and crashed into the center divider. After hitting the center divider, the car ended up blocking the two lanes.
Paramedics rushed to the scene of the accident to attend to those injured in the crash. The report did not provide any specific details about the crash but no fatalities were reported.
