SACRAMENTO, CA: Two Injured In Highway 50 Traffic Collision

The vehicles crashed on Highway 50 in Sacramento, Two hospitalized

Sacramento, California (Aug. 24, 2016) – A three-vehicle collision was reported Tuesday evening on the westbound, as per a California Highway Patrol report.

The accident took place at 6:20 p.m. near the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway. The vehicles involved in the crash were described as a black Toyota Prius, a green SUV, and a third vehicle.

At total of two people were injured in the crash. The two victims sustained minor injuries in the crash and were complaining of pain.  Paramedics responded to the scene of the accident and transported the victims to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

An investigation into the crash is underway by police to determine the cause and liability.
