SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA: Motorcycle, Car Crash 5 North Freeway Near Carmenita Road
SANTA FE SPRINGS, California (September 27, 2016) – According to a police report, a motorcycle rider was injured Tuesday morning after crashing into a vehicle in Santa Fe Springs.
The crash took place at about 6:43 a.m. when a motorcycle rider crashed into a vehicle possibly a Hyundai on the 5 North Freeway.
Responding units found the rider down on numbers 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway and the motorcycle was blocking the middle lanes of the freeway.
The vehicle that was rear-ended by the rider was seen on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway after the accident.
A tow truck was requested to remove the motorcycle that was blocking the freeway.
The report did not indicate the extent of the injuries sustained by the rider. It also did not show if the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash was injured in the crash.
