Man Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision at Harmony Road and Timberline Road in Fort Collins

Fort Collins, Colorado (March 23, 2018) – A  man was killed Wednesday night in a two-vehicle collision in Fort Collins, according to a police report.

The fatal crash occurred shortly after 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21 at the intersection of Harmony Road and Timberline Road

According to the police report, the 28-year-old man was operating a Buick sedan northbound on Timberline Road when he rear-ended a semi that was turning eastbound onto Harmony Road.

The Buick’s driver was declared deceased at the scene. A 9-year-old passenger in the back seat of the car was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

The semi’s driver sustained minor injuries but didn’t need to be transported to the hospital.

The intersection of Harmony Road and Timberline Road was shut down for about six hours during the investigation.

The man had not been identified.

No further information regarding the deadly crash was immediately provided.

An investigation to the crash is ongoing.
