Connecticut State Trooper Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 84 near Off-Ramp 68 in Tolland

Tolland, Connecticut (March 31, 2018) – A Connecticut state trooper was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-car crash in Tolland, according to a State Police report.

The deadly incident happened just after 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29 on Interstate 84 near Off-Ramp 68.

According to the State Police, Kevin Miller was traveling eastbound on Interstate 84 in the right lane while a tractor-trailer was also traveling eastbound in the right lane at a slower speed than the flow of traffic.

Miller crashed into the rear end of the tractor-trailer.

Miller died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

An investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
