2 Killed, 1 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on I-4 in Seminole County

Seminole County, Florida (April 23, 2018) – Two people were killed and another injured in a wrong-way car crash in Seminole County on Sunday morning, according to FHP.

The deadly crash occurred on Interstate 4 near U.S. 17-92 at around 4 a.m. on Sunday, April 22.

FHP said George Stephan, 20, of Lake Mary was heading west in the eastbound lanes of I-4 when his Honda Civic collided head-on with an SUV driven by a 66-year-old Pennsylvania man.

Stephan and his passenger, Gretchen Roberts, 19, of Maitland, were killed in the crash.

The other driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Troopers are investigating the crash.
