Jessiely Aponte Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision on U.S 27 near Airglades Boulevard in Glades County
Glades County, Florida (March 24, 2018) – The woman who was killed Monday in a two-car crash in Glades County has been identified as Jessiely Aponte, 28, of Zephyrhills, according to a Florida Highway Patrol.
The deadly accident took place on U.S 27, just east of Airglades Boulevard on Monday, March 19.
According to the FHP, Aponte was operating a 2011 Chrysler 200 at the high rate of speed behind a commercial truck on U.S 27 when she failed to slow down and rear-ended a commercial truck that was also traveling on U.S 27.
Aponte was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No further information regarding the crash was available.
An investigation into the deadly accident is ongoing.
