Naples Man Killed in 4-Wheeler Collision on Auto Ranch Road near Oak Tree Drive in Collier County
Collier County, Florida (March 29, 2018) – A Naples man was killed Monday night in a four-wheeler collision in Collier County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 26 on Auto Ranch Road, just south of Oak Tree Drive.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, David Dunn, 49, was operating a homemade four-wheeler southbound on Auto Ranch Road when a Ford van rear-ended him.
The impact pushed both vehicles onto the westbound side of the grass shoulder where the Ford flipped and struck a tree.
Dunn was declared deceased at the scene.
The Ford’s driver fled the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
