Port Richey Woman Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision on U.S. 19 near State Road 52 in Hudson

Hudson, Florida (April 2, 2018) – A Port Richey woman was killed Saturday night in a two-vehicle accident in Hudson, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The deadly collision took place at about 9:17 p.m. Saturday, March 31 on U.S. 19 near State Road 52.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Christina Costarella, 39, was driving a 2004 Jaguar X-Type eastbound in a driveway on the 12209 block of U.S. 19 when she turned onto the highway and drove into the path of a 2007 Mazda 6 driven by 48-year-old Paul Fullington.

Costarella pulled in front of Fullington, whose car struck the left side of the Jaguar.

Costarella was transported to Regional Medical Center Bayonet point where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Fullington was taken to Bayonet Point with serious injuries.

No other details were immediately available.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
