Two Killed in Plane Crash in Port St. Lucie

Port St. Lucie, Florida (April 1, 2018) – Two people were killed Saturday morning in a plane crash in Port St. Lucie, according to a police report.

The fatal crash occurred at around 11:45 a.m. Saturday, March 31 approximately 20 miles east of Port St. Lucie Inlet.

According police, a pilot of a single-engine aircraft had told the authorities that he was changing course because of bad weather. Moments later, they lost communication.

The two occupants of the aircraft were found dead in the wreckage.

The pilot and passenger were not identified.

The incident remains under investigation.
