Mayfield Man Killed, 2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on KY-303 near Moreland Road in Graves County

Graves County, KY (March 30, 2018) – An 84-year-old Mayfield man was killed, and two other people were injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Graves County, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened at around 1:40 p.m. Thursday, March 29 on KY-303 near Moreland Road.

According to the authorities, Nell Blalock was driving a minivan southbound on KY-303 while Ashley Delisi, 32, of Pilot Oak, was driving a Ford Edge northbound. The two cars collided head-on on a hill.

Blalock died from injuries sustained in the accident.

Delisi and her 2-year-old child were flown to separate hospitals for their injuries.

Authorities stated that Both Blalock and Delisi were wearing seatbelts and the child was in a child safety seat.

KY 303 was shut down for about three hours while the scene was reconstructed.

No other details were immediately available.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
