Samira Jenkins Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Indian Head Highway and Kerby Hill Road in Fort Washington
Fort Washington, Maryland (March 23, 2018) – The woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning in Fort Washington has been identified as Samira Jenkins, 24, of Oxon, according to authorities.
The deadly crash happened at around 5:45 a.m. Thursday, March 22 at the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Kerby Hill Road.
According to the authorities, Jenkins was hit by a vehicle while she was in a crosswalk of the Indian Head Highway.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
Jenkins was declared deceased at the scene.
No further information regarding the deadly crash was immediately provided.
An investigation to the crash is ongoing.
